  • PTA Christmas Fair

    The PTA put on a spectacular Christmas fair with an excellent raffle, ever-popular bottle tombola, a range of stalls selling festive crafts and the the children sold their creations on their enterprise stalls. We thank all involved for their hard work in making the fair a success.

  • Christingle Service

    We had a beautiful Christingle Service held in church led by Wendy in Rev. Les’ absence. We reflected on the good work that The Children’s Society do for children less fortunate than us. We thank children and families for their money donations that we will take to the ‘50 years of Christingle Service’ held at Lichfield Cathedral in January.

  • Shoebox Appeal 2018

    Rev. Les came to collect the shoeboxes families have put together for Operation Christmas Child – Samaritan’s Purse. We thank children for their kind donations and know they will put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas.

  • Rev Les comes to lead Worship

    Rev. Les came to lead worship today. He spoke about forgiveness and told us the story of The Prodigal Son and how the son asked his father for forgiveness. Rev Les told us that Jesus wants us to ask for forgiveness when we have done something wrong and that we find it in ourselves to forgive when others do wrong to us.

  • WWI Performance to Class 2 and 3

    A performance about William Harold Coltman and Lily Thomas. William was a stretcher bearer and saved many lives and Lilly who sent many care packages and letters to soldiers, both were from Burton on Trent.

  • Worship led by John Coltman

    Mr Coltman spoke to the children today about the crosses in William Coltman's life. The Victoria Cross and the cross of Jesus. He explained the symbol of the poppy and why we remember people on Remembrance Day.

    Our Remembrance Service was beautiful and peaceful. The church was excellently dressed for the weekend of activities and it only added to our service.   We would like to thank Liz Ford and the  community team for enabling us to be part of this special time.

  • Laches Wood Residential

    Children had an amazing week at Laches wood! We thank Mr Brown, Mr Neeson and our staff for their hard work and leaving their families to ensure our children had a great week. The staff there were brilliant and the children were commended on their behaviour too, what an excellent week!
