  • MAGICAL Enrichment Day

    Children had a ‘magical’ enrichment day. Children and staff all looked amazing and there were lots of varying costumes centred around magic. Children completed fantastic activities in class as well as having a brilliant team come to school to play Quiddich! The players had brooms, scoring systems, bludgers and snitches! Children had a ball.  Phat magic also came courtesy of star foundation and children saw some brilliant magic, performing lots of tricks and taught us how to do a dice trick!

  • Jordan tells us about Easter

    Jordan came into our worship today to tell the Easter story and how it links to the new life of spring time. We discussed the importance of doing what is right and letting go of our guilt and embarrassment. We always enjoy Jordan's interactive worships.

    Children and families had a beautiful Mothering Sunday service, lots of wonderful art, singing, poems and readings. Well do to the staff and children for a great day and to all the families for attending. Have a wonderful mothering Sunday.

  • Worship team deliver a wonderful worship

    Worship team delivered a wonderful worship on compassion today, Neev played the piano for us to walk into too! They told the story of The Good Samaritan and how it is important to show compassion to everyone.

  • TT ROCKSTARS Reinvigorate

    Our TT Rockstars reinvigoration launch was amazing! The children were alert and awaited the rock music to start periodically throughout the day before completing times tables questions for three minutes. Our EYFS and Y1 children had their very own 'Number Facts Rock Stars' activities to complete with their teachers too! As the children become more proficient in their times table/number fact skills they will begin to achieve certain 'rock star status' and these will be rewarded with a mini-certificate that fits on their TT Rockstar keyring.

  • Tag Rugby

    What a fabulous evening, a forest family team playing brilliantly together at the Tag Rugby tournament this week!  They won 2, drew one, lost one. They played excellently and had fun!

  • Music Share at the Cathedral

    Wow! What a fabulous afternoon and evening we had at Lichfield  Cathedral. The children performed fantastically and enjoyed taking part in the evensong with Lichfield Cathedral Choir. Well done Year 2, 3 and 4 at Needwood and Year 3 and 4 at Rangemore. We had a brilliant time, thank you to all the staff and volunteers which helped make this a memorable occasion.

  • Worship Team's compassionate worship

    Purple worship team delivered worship all about compassion and the children reflected on how we feel when we show compassion. They also invited children to the prayer station to write a compassionate prayer which will be open on Thursday break time.

  • Year 3/4 Atheltics at John Taylor High School

    Children had a brilliant evening at John Taylor High School, let by their young ambassadors, for an athletics tournament. They took part in a full range of activities and had great fun!

  • World Book Day

    What a super turn out for World Book Day, we decided to dress up in the theme of sporting characters. Children came dressed as horse riders, footballers, rugby players, ballet dancers we even had a quidditch player! We all had a great day and enjoyed our activities.

  • Pancake Day – 5/3/19

    The whole school took part in our annual pancake race. We had lots of fun. The birds will enjoy the leftovers!

    Well done to all the children who took part, those pancakes were not easy to flip with the wind!
