Children and families had a wonderful evening singing worship songs interspersed with Easter prayers, reading and poems. We are very proud that they sang well, had fun and had such confidence.
We were pleased to welcome John Coltman into Worship who discussed with us the stepping stones. He told us the stories about the Miracles of Jesus and we complete the stepping stones after Easter.
What a beautiful Communion service today, thank you to Rev Les and Wendy for a super afternoon.
Children had an amazing time at the PTA Easter bingo! We thank our PTA for a super evening, to the families who attended and doinated the eggs and our staff callers. The raffle was extensive and everyone had an amazing, 'eggcellent' time.
We welcomed Jordan Lambert into our worship on Monday. He spoke to the children about the importance of honesty and told the parable of Zacchaeus the tax man. The children loved listening to the story and the meaning behind it, as well as joining in with some of the actions. We look forwards to seeing Jordan again after the Easter Holidays!
Children had an excellent event at the high fivers tournament. Whilst they didn’t win, it was wonderful to see how they got progressively better and better improving their skill and teamwork with each match.
Children had a wonderful time running a mile - and more! We raised £31 for Sport Relief! Thank you.
The Easter bunny visited school today to collect eggs for Easter Bingo. Children enjoyed non uniform and had a lovely day.

On Tuesday afternoon Class 1 from Rangemore visited Class 1 at Needwood. We had an exciting afternoon taking part in lots of science investigations. We made wax resist pictures, explored our senses, made magic potions and explored magnets. We all worked well together and made new friends too!
Children held a beautiful Mothering Sunday Service. It was joyful, loving, good and kind as they reflected on the fruits of the spirit and motherhood in the bible, a great celebration of mothers across the world. All women and men who take on the role of mother, what a beautiful service and refreshments afterwards!
