  • Victorian Christmas - 150 year celebrations

    Published 19/12/18

Our ‘Victorian Christmas’ enrichment day celebrating 150 years of All Saints Church was tremendous. It was great to see the children all dressed up and taking part in lots of activities whilst raising money for the church renovations.  We also thank the families who went to the church during the afternoon and for buying raffle tickets for the event in the club Wednesday evening. It was nice to join in with Rev. Les’ Gilbert and Sullivan song about a police constable, see such a lovely raffle and hear Mr Tipper play carols.

How wonderful to see the church so full this Sunday. The children's play, reading and  stories were superb. They told us a little bit about life for children in the Victorian Era prior to schooling.  It was a lovely way to celebrated the church's 150 year celebrations. Thank you to staff and families for a lovely morning.
