Year 2 Banghara Dancing

Year 2’s were kindly invited to John Taylor High School on Tuesday this week to take part in Bhangra dance sessions. We travelled by mini bus and were met by three JTHS pupils who kindly took us into their very large school hall! We met VJ who was a specialist bhangra dance teacher. He taught us lots of dance moves in just under an hour so that we had a complete routine. He used different drum beats and vocal queues to help us. We were all very proud of ourselves and when we returned to school we performed it to the Year 1’s!
