Our Very First School Eucharist

After preparation in school during our RE lessons, six children took the fantastic decision to take their very first Holy Communion this week. They took the bread and wine of the 'Last Supper' in remembrance of what Jesus did for Christians. It was a very special and moving service where we said prayers, sung praise and worshipped God in a children friendly Eucharist service. Both staff and parents joined the children when taking the bread and wine. We will be taking Holy Communion once a term in the new academic year, as part of our Friday Celebration Worship in All Saints, Rangemore Church.
