  • Holy Communion Sessions with Reverend Les and Wendy

    Reverend Les and Wendy taught Year 3 and 4 more about Holy Communion as part of their RE lessons, and they will be continuing their learning over the next few weeks in preparation for Holy Communion in March. The children had lots of questions to ask and really engaged with their learning.

  • Christingle 50th Anniversary Service

    On Wednesday 23rd January Mrs Evans, and four children from school went to Lichfield Cathedral to be part of their Christingle celebrations to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the children’s society.

  • Pop UK!

    It has been another fantastic week beginning with a tremendous concert in each of our schools. Families and children really rocked it at out with the charity,  POP UK events. We thank Rachel and Jim for their hard work and passion in bringing music about standing up for ourselves, having a voice and seeing positives, believing in ourselves and getting back up when we fall down was incredibly powerful. Children, staff and families had the best time!

  • Year 3 and 4 Music Share

    Year 3 and 4 were fortunate enough to have their first Music Share lesson with Cathy Lamb yesterday, and sounded amazing. The children will have three more sessions in preparation for their Music Share concert in March and will be practising with Mrs Ambrose in between!

  • Victorian Christmas - 150 year celebrations

    Our ‘Victorian Christmas’ enrichment day celebrating 150 years of All Saints Church was tremendous. It was great to see the children all dressed up and taking part in lots of activities whilst raising money for the church renovations.  We also thank the families who went to the church during the afternoon and for buying raffle tickets for the event in the club Wednesday evening. It was nice to join in with Rev. Les’ Gilbert and Sullivan song about a police constable, see such a lovely raffle and hear Mr Tipper play carols.

    Our Christmas Nativity and Carols, Little Angel gets her wings was simply magical. The children sparkled and shone and were confident, relaxed and full of fun and love, what a super evening!

  • Premier sports Baseline

    We had fun this morning carrying our baseline assessment for fitness with Premier Sports. The children had to run laps for 3 minutes and their partners count how many they did. The children loved it and hopefully will improve when we measure them again next year!

  • Christmas Concert John Taylor Multi Academy Trust

    Monday night saw a beautiful evening at John Taylor Free School have sent photo , he children had a fabulous but long day, practising for the show and playing on the new school’s playground! The trust kindly paid for a meal for them all also. The singing was beautiful and moving and the audience enjoyed singing to some of the more traditional carols. The John Taylor band were fantastic too. What a beautiful night!
