  • Magic Maths Club!

    A maths magician came into worship today to tell us about an exciting maths club which will be starting after Easter. He performed a card trick which involved finding all 4 aces from the deck. You can find out how he did it by taking part in the club. Flyers available in the office if your child hasn’t bought theirs home.

  • TT Rockstars

    What an amazing day we have had to reinvigorate our TT Rockstars. Children looked amazing and rock music was drumming through the corridor! Lots of children became a Rock Legend today with the extra practise they put in. The children should receive their first key rings shortly.

  • Tag Rugby

    What a fabulous evening, a forest family team playing brilliantly together at the Tag Rugby tournament this week!  They won 2, drew one, lost one. They played excellently and had fun!

  • Music Share at Lichfield Cathedral

    Wow! What a fabulous afternoon and evening we had at Lichfield  Cathedral. The children performed fantastically and enjoyed taking part in the evensong with Lichfield Cathedral Choir. Well done Year 2, 3 and 4 at Needwood and Year 3 and 4 at Rangemore. We had a brilliant time, thank you to all the staff and volunteers which helped make this a memorable occasion.

  • Year 3/4 Athletics at JTHS

    Children had a brilliant evening at John Taylor High School, let by their young ambassadors, for an athletics tournament. They took part in a full range of activities and had great fun!

  • World Book Day!

    What a super turn out for World Book Day, we decided to dress up in the theme of sporting characters. Children came dressed as horse riders, footballers, rugby players, ballet dancers we even had a quidditch player! We all had a great day and enjoyed our activities.

  • Holy Communion

    Children enjoyed their Holy Communion services at both schools, and we thank Rev Les and Wendy for leading them. Many children received a blessing and several children took communion, with two children taking their first communion. It was a beautiful service in which the worship team said prayers, read scripture and a bible reading.

  • Pancake Day – 5/3/19

    The whole school took part in our annual pancake race. We had lots of fun. The birds will enjoy the leftovers!

  • Big Bang

    In the last week of term, years 5 and 6 across our schools attended the Big Bang at John Taylor Free School. Whilst they were there they got the opportunity to make electric cars, learn about the railways ways and explore the genetics of superheroes. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day.

  • Jordan’s Worship

    Jordan came to deliver our worship this week. It was all about bravery and courage. The children loved the Angry Birds activity at the beginning and enjoyed listening to and taking part in the story of Joshua and courage of the Israelites.
