  • Fathers' Day Service

    Our Father’s Day services were wonderful. We are so proud of our children and thankful to our staff for such a lovely service. It was wonderful to see science  included in the service as well as a range of cultural references from Peppa Pig to  Shakespeare! The speakers and singers were so confident, what a lovely service. We hope that all fathers (and indeed grandads, uncles and mums who undertake this special role) have a lovely weekend!

  • Jordan’s worship

    Jordan came into our worship today, he told us the story of the Prodigal Son and how our heavenly father is always there for us and forgives us when we make mistakes. We had some wonderful actors from year 3 help tell the story. We always look forwards to Jordan’s worships.

  • Multi skills at John Taylor

    Wow! What a fabulous afternoon we have had at the multi skills event run by the sports ambassadors. The children enjoyed taking part in a range of activities including. Well done Reception, Year 1 and 2 at Needwood and Year 1 and 2 at Rangemore. We had a brilliant time, thank you to all the staff and volunteers which pulled this event together.

  • Song birds Singing - Burton Town Hall

    Sonrds performance at Burton Town Hal. They joined children from other schools in Staffordshire for a singing workshop and performed several fun songs using sign language actions.

  • Lichfield Cathedral Inspire

    LICHFIELD CATHEDRAL INSPIRE!

    The Year 4 children visited a ‘space’ themed Aspire workshop at Lichfield Cathedral. The children joined in with a carousal of activities, including a planetarium experience. A great day was had by all!

  • Jordan Delivers Worship

    Jordan led our worship this week and taught the children all about the meaning of ‘wisdom’ through a fun game. Children learnt that everybody can be wise, no matter what their age is. We can reflect on our knowledge and previous experiences to make wise choices for ourselves, as well as others. Thank you Jordan!

  • John Coltman's Worship

    John Coltman came in to our worship today to continue the story of Joseph. He also explained the different books of the bible to us and recalled the books of the Old Testament in order. Very Impressive!

    Our Easter Services were magical, they were well attended and children had a wonderful time singing, sharing their art work, telling the Easter story, reading scripture and prayers.

  • Dance Worship at St Augustine’s, Draycott in the Clay

    We were fortunate enough to attend a dance worship which was held by St Augustine’s Academy. One of our worship team from each school attended with Mrs Jones and Mrs Rees to bring some ideas back about introducing dance worship in our schools. We will soon be holding worship team meetings to discuss what we can do in our worship teams.

  • MAGICAL Enrichment day!

    Children had a ‘magical’ enrichment day. Children and staff all looked amazing and there were lots of varying costumes centred around magic. Children completed fantastic activities in class as well as having a brilliant team come to school to play Quiddich! The players had brooms, scoring systems, bludgers and snitches! Children had a ball.  Phat magic also came courtesy of star foundation and children saw some brilliant magic, performing lots of tricks and taught us how to do a dice trick!
