Class 3 All Saints
Class 3 learnt about their class artist, Pablo Picasso and the wide variety of styles he used in his artwork. Children discovered that Picasso used colours to express emotions in his artwork so this led to them discussing which colours best expressed the emotions people have felt during the current pandemic. Everyone agreed that they have felt a variety of emotions over time so they decided to use a selection of colours in their art work to portray these. Children thought carefully about their target audience (their families) and designed a tote bag for them that shared a positive message, incorporating the colours of the rainbow. Fabric pens were then used to create eco-friendly tote bags that could be used for many purposes in the future (and washed during COVID-19 too).
