Christian Distinctiveness

‘If we love one another God dwelleth in us and his love is perfected in us' 1 John 4:12

Both All Saints' Primary and Needwood Primary are Church of England schools within the Lichfield Diocese and both hold strong links with their own Parish Church and come together as a Federation in both churches at different times of the year. Both schools are frequently visited by Reverend Les Rees who leads a regular whole school worship and offer spiritual and pastoral support for all members of the school community. Both schools also have regular visits and worship led by John Coltman.

Our Church communities support our schools in a number of ways, including leading collective worship, supporting the teaching of RE, organising and running a Christian Club (All Saints' and Needwood) as well as representatives holding the roles of Foundation Governors on our Federation Governing Body.

We also work in partnership withthe Lichfield Diocesan Board of Education in continually improving and growing as Church Schools.

All Saints Church Rangemore

At All Saints' Primary we regularly visit All Saints Church, Rangemore which is positioned next to the school. We hold many celebrations throughout the year in church such as our Nativity and Christmas Carol Concert, Christingle service, Harvest, Mothering Sunday service, Easter service as well as some of the weekly celebration worships we hold. We also use the Church when teaching elements of Christianity in RE, for instance about Baptism and Holy buildings.
